Close - Style Practice

This is more of a practice pic than anything real, so I would appreciate some critique from you lovely people if you can spare the minutes - I'm desperate to improve.

For those not in the know, these two are Kahlan Amnell and Cara from "Legend of the Seeker" - the most unlikely of friends. It's like chalk and cheese for those not in the know - one is the head of her (very definitely good-guy) religion, a Mother Confessor, and the other was a loyal dominatrix-y slave to the villain (now reformed somewhat), a Mord'Sith. They hate eachother mostly. It leads to some damn infuriating tension and hate!eye!sex but sometimes they are all companion-y, especially recently.

Bridget Regan and Tabrett Bethell, two of the most beautiful women ever - seriously. They are already on my "Go Gay For" list, and usually it takes months of deliberation for womens to make it on there

Anyway, there's your background info, but I'm not asking how accurate the picture is (I know it's off), but I would love to know how I can improve technique.
